2020 Mercedes GLC63 Goes 10.8 ET with AMR ECU + TCU + CPC

A family-sized AMG SUV running a 10-second quarter mile . This 2020 Mercedes-AMG GLC63 went 10.83 seconds at 125.86 mph with AMR Performance software in all three modules that decide how hard the car pulls: the engine ECU, the transmission TCU and the CPC. The Numbers Quarter Mile — 10.83 s @ 125.86 mph 60 ft: 1.61 s 330 ft: 4.48 s 1/8 mile: 6.92 s @ 100.74 mph 1000 ft: 9.04 s @ 114.96 mph 1/4 mile: 10.83 s @ 125.86 mph Conditions: 45°F, 545 ft elevation, 664 ft density altitude, −0.47% slope, recorded on a GPS performance meter. 0–60 mph — 2.94 s 0–10: 0.41 s 0–20: 0.80 s 0–30: 1.20 s 0–40: 1.66 s 0–50: 2.22 s 0–60: 2.94 s (2.72 s with 1 ft rollout) Conditions: 50°F, 538 ft elevation, 999 ft density altitude, 0.00% slope. What’s on the Car The power comes from software in three control units that work together: AMR ECU Upgrade — engine calibration for the 4.0L twin-turbo M177 V8: boost, fueling, timing and torque limits. AMR TCU Upgrade — transmission software that raises the gearbox torque limits to match the engine, and speeds up and firms up shifts so the extra power reaches the ground. AMR Race CPC Upgrade — the CPC (powertrain coordinator) sits between the engine and transmission and caps the torque the car will actually deliver. Without it, a tuned engine and gearbox are still held back by factory limits. An ECU tune alone makes the power. The TCU and CPC let the car use it. On the AMG 4.0L platform, launches and full-throttle gear changes are where the three-module package shows up most — and a 1.61-second 60 ft and a 2.94-second 0–60 in a 4,000-plus-pound SUV are exactly that. Get the Same Setup Every module on this car is software. For the 2016–2022 GLC63 and GLC63 S (X253/C253), AMR offers the ECU, TCU and CPC upgrades individually or together. See the GLC 63 tune page for the full package, or contact AMR Performance with your VIN and we’ll confirm what fits your car.
