There's a lot of uncertainty when choosing which company will be responsible for your ECU tune and how well the customer service is. My first call to AMR put all that worry to rest. I spoke to both Robert and Matt about my 2018 C43, each taking time out of their day to put my mind at ease answering any questions I had and explaining in detail how and what changes with the tune. I went to their facility to do an in-house dyno tune and the experience was great. Gains are plentiful and the car performs night and day from stock. Definitely recommend if you're thinking about getting a tune!
I can't give AMR 6 stars so 5 will do! I been in the car game 15 years and these guys are putting a new standard on how a tuner/dyno service should be. C63 w205 is a quick car but now the numbers speak for its self over 100whp and 121tq over stock, just a tune! Knowledge and experience is key. Thank you Rob and Matt for the excellent service!

My experience with AMR was great. Matt and Rob were easy to work with and very accommodating. Great experience with my 2019 C43 AMF, AMR AND chris chan. Delivery was super fast. Initially i had some internet issues downloading but Chris Walked me through everything and I couldn't be happier. Car noticeably pulls harder and still maintains daily drive ability. Chris was great over the phone and walked me through everything f as this was my first time tuning but it could have been easier. Next up is CPC tune, My stock 0-60 was 4.28, after the AMR tune 3.6 so obviously much quicker. If you have been thinking about getting a tune hit these guys up, you won't be disappointed.
It was a pleasure getting my car tuned at AMR performance. Robert was fun to chat with and never hesitated to walk me through anything he was doing to my car . The tune also gave the c450 that extra oompf it was missing and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience what this car is really capable of. 2018 E63S ecu, tcu, cpc
Hi everyone , After looking for over a year, I ended up buying a very nice , pretty much fully spec 2018 with 27000 miles The car came with an AMR ecu tune, and has since had the AMR tcu and cpc tune added. The choice was dictated by excellent customer feed back here and elsewhere. Coming from a mac background, I bought a cheap Dell laptop on Amazon for $180, to run the AMR software to update the tcu. I have a 09 C300 N/A I got the burble tune. Wish it was able to cracke and pop all the time but it's just when driving and fluttering the pedal. I'm just used to My Z crackle tune. But it's okay for older models that want a little extra fun sound. Nothing big . The people however are awesome. Helped me all the way to the end self install the tune. Pretty easy by the way. . . Make the crackle tune happen across the board and I'll be Soo happy 😫😫😫
AMR tune is by farthest better than DME
Just want to give a shoutout to Chris Chan. Cuz of him I went forward with this tune. With his support and help made it so much easier to proceed with it. I had DME tune and to be honest it I wasn’t happy with it. It ran sluggish and wasn’t as good as everyone was talking about. Ok so I was hesitant on taking that leap to purchase the AMR tune as I live in Australia and it was a bit pricey so I had no idea on how it would go, I had been speaking with Chris Chan for a while... I had a great experience with AMR. I had the JB4 installed on my car but going stage 1 with AMR it was a huge night and day difference. Chris Chan helped me out so much. AMR is the best!
After having a horrible experience with "famed" tuners on the forums, I took my vehicle to AMR Performance. I could not believe what a difference from the way they spoke to me, the information I learned from them and they way the treated me. I could not ask for better. They tuned my vehicle perfectly as well as fixed a lot of start up issues that other tuners said where "mechanical problems" and wanted me to change parts. Dealt with Chris Chan for my enquiry and subsequent purchase. Very knowledgeable and helpful. No question too difficult. Long messenger transcript but we got their in the end and the result was well worth the money. I like the accessibility that the Comport offers and the ease to revert to other tunes. Being in Australia (WA) also had its challenges but we managed, just be patient for the replies. USPS was a little slow so if possible request a different shipping. I’m absolutely impressed from the customer service to the product. Matt was very professional and helpful with the inquiry and buying process. Chris has also been a blessing to deal with. I had a user issue with the updating process and I was helped very fast. The issue was solely my fault. Noob mistakes. First off id like to say my car is stock performance wise just some exterior mods and i only got the stage 1 tune due to an active warranty or i would have went straight to the P2 package. Outstanding levels of customer service even in a COVID-19 condition - AMR worked with me for 4 months to locate a missing Comport on an international shipment and when the software package needed updating, was ridiculously quick in sorting the right tune pack for me. Worth every cent! EDIT: Tune was a stage 2 for a E64 BMW 650i. No CEL despite being catless and night and day difference to the low-mid range torque.

All I have to say is professionalism. Matt and Rob have provided this with the two cars I have gotten tuned by them and both times I have left their shop in Danbury with a smile on my face. My 2009 VW GTI had 135,000 miles on it and with a little work done to it they made that car run amazingly. If you are not looking for something crazy but just want to wake your car up to its true potential, they can do that in their sleep. 10/10 would recommend.

Words cannot explain the satisfaction and joy I’ve received from my experience at AMR. Due to having a swapped car with a merged harness, complications arose left and right trying to tune my car over a span of enormous time. By far the best decision I made in regards to tuning my car. I had originally gone with a different tuner for my C400 Mercedes Benz. Though things felt right something was missing (power!!) CPC for 2019 C43
Started out small with stage 1, but couldn't resist upgrading to stage 2 and replacing CPC to really achieve the full potential. Car is a completely different machine, louder and faster then I could image. CPC swap can be DIY, but expect tight spaces. The team is always great and quick to help and answer any questions.

The car feels completely different! The shifting is strong and smooth, the power feels like it doesn't end. I use to lose power on the top end and now it wants to go faster on higher rpm! Loving it stage 2 coming soon!

This was by far one of my best automotive experiences.These guys are no joke, and know exactly what they are doing. Solid for being a plug n play tune
Tune was very easy to install, takes roughly 10-15 mins. If you run into issues just join an online amr chat and they respond within a minute to help you with any issues. Chris Chan made it super easy to purchase and helped me to select what was right for me. The burbles are not very loud, only hear them on downshifts, not when revving but it’s perfect for me. I would love if amr could find a way to override the auto start/stop from turning on ;-) Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase and it has opened my car up a lot since getting it done.

2017 AMG C43 ECU & TCU Tune
I did a lot of research as to which tune I felt would be best for my (New to me) 2017 C43. After doing my homework, I chose AMR. I called them to talk through the tune and actually spoke with Matt, the owner. He was very knowledgeable and responsive, which as you know, is critical when installing a tune on your daily driver. The install went smoothly and the performance is incredible. This is not your least expensive option, but considering the value of the vehicle and the cost to repair, I am confident that I made the right choice.

Worth every penny. Still early in the drive testing as I’ve been out of town on business and just installed. Complete game changer. The stage 2 makes me feel like in driving a rocket ship😂. I purchased the comport tuner with burbles I can’t stress enough on how much it changes the car but I was hopping it would’ve came with the special features that I thought I was getting like the burnout mode, launch, free rev, etc. that’s why I’m rating it 4 of 5 stars. Purchased this for my 2019 Vantage. Got the 93 Octane with the Burbles and Pops add-on. Got the Pro-Tuning Suite very fast in the mail. Sent off the email that I had received it and was ready to start the tune. Very quick response within an hour. Hooked everything up via the instructions they gave. Very simple to follow. Absolutely pleased with the tune. Had a little bit of an issue with the vehicle immobilizer system after I programmed the tune in the car. The AMR techs were very responsive and worked with me to resolve the issue very quickly. Great product and even better costumer service. Will continue to use them for all future tunes.

Easy installation
After the car’s ECU was updated the Comport Pro Tuning Suite seemed easy to install in a few minutes. The car feels much more powerful in both horsepower and torque but I can’t tell by exactly how much until I can find a dyne to test it on. My only complaint is that the code is written for Windows. Some tuners provide a Mac option. I had to buy a tablet to install it. This is an option AMR should consider.

2020 E450 CPC
I had been told, from another tuning company, that the CPC upgrade did not work with my E450. There were some initial minor issues. However, AMR has the absolute best customer support. They worked tirelessly, even after business hours, to find and resolve the issues. The tuned CPC brings the ECU and TCU tunes together for the complete package. I now have very comfortable riding vehicle that turns into a beast when you want and averages 36.5mpg at 65mph. Again, AMR has the hands down best service and support in this market.

I purchase a CPC unit from Matt Forbes and needless to say I couldn’t be happier. I currently have a AMR Stage 2 ECU tune installed and this CPC took the car to the next level. I also had them program the exhaust valves to be positioned fully open at all time…it’s amazing. AMR seriously has some of the best customer service and sales representatives I’ve encountered. Reliability
Although you will see the gains, the downside is that the 4matic 9g tronic will not handle that much torque without modification. Luckily those are inexpensive.

Sounded good from the first start
I bought the tune for my AMG E43. Because of my schedule at work it took me a while to flash it. Ran into a couple of problems, none of which was AMR's fault. Finally flashed it this morning when I got home from work at 0700. When I started it after the flash, even in the default comfort mode it starts in, it sounded more aggressive. 7 moths ago I tunned my car with Euro charge, I had many issues with my car after bc the guy who tunned here in Boston didn't know what he was doing. The best customer service and the best product
I did ecu tune with AMR last year for my 19 e63s wagon. This year I want to add cpc tune. Talked with Chris Chan. I received my cpc in 3 days and AMR hq helped me to program the cpc ! The best customer service I ever had ! If you have a w213 e63s adding a cpc is a must in my opinion. It’s day and night difference. OEM cpc removal and install is not that hard definitely can DIY. I can noticed after cpc tune cold start is louder than before and when you driving less throttle is needed cause the car is way more responds and faster than only ecu tune. best mod ever done!
This is my second tuner for my Mercedes GTS AMG. The first tuner I picked based off a deal they gave me on Facebook and a couple my friends said they were the best. Worst move I ever made! Note to self, do not listen to your friends! Thankful I came across AMR and after speaking with Robert decided to pull the trigger. The car is an animal! C43 AMG Tune Stage 1 with Chris Chan
I held off on getting a tune for my car as I never trusted the process. Once I started looking into it, AMR was one of the top brands for recommendation. I reached out to Chris Chan, and decided to pull the trigger. After getting my tune, the upload process was super simple but with my luck there was a windows update the day before and it needed patching from AMRs team. Chris kept me calm, and collected and ensured me that everything would be okay and the car would get the proper tune. These aren’t cheap toys and it’s scary if things don’t go perfectly. Like a different car
Wow! The power increase you get is very noticeable and the burble add on is my favorite, medium to loud pops and burbles while downshifting even with a stock exhaust. This tune is great plus it’s really easy to install and customer service was quick to respond to my questions.
Do it!
The tune is awesome! It’s the best thing you can do without grabbing a wrench. It took me a few tries with the software, at one point my car was disabled, and I’m sure AMR would have helped me install it. But I’m too much of a hard head to ask for help. The software has a hard reset on the ECU so if you get in too much trouble there’s a safety net. Once the tune was loaded it made the car come alive. It was already a fun car stock, but the tune unlocks the real potential of the car. If you are on the fence about this, hop over to the ‘yes’ side. The grass is greener.
Stage 2 w205 Comport Pro Tuner
Amazing power. Amazing sound. AMR guys are great. Make sure you have a good laptop with all updated software. I tried on an older laptop and almost messed everything up. AMR was there to help on a Sunday too. More than happy with the sound and performance! Recommend

I talked to Chris Chan multiple times before I bought the tune. he answered all my questions I had. He was there every step of the way for me and helped me tune the car. I have a 2018 Mercedes E43 amg and went with their stage one tune. So far I love it. I love the constant power it has, but still very friendly around town. its hard to stay out of the accelerator, I always want to feel the power. The other day I took it to the beach which was about 110 miles each way. going down I averaged 28.7mpg and about 28.4 on the way back. Definitely worth the money!!
Aside from the added horsepower the tune wakes up the car in so many ways. I absolutely love that I can now drive past 130mph, and the car doesn’t even feel like it’s trying!! I worked with Chris Chan and had an amazing experience, definitely recommend him to anyone!!

AMR tune is by farthest better than DME
Just want to give a shoutout to Chris Chan. Cuz of him I went forward with this tune. With his support and help made it so much easier to proceed with it. I had DME tune and to be honest it I wasn’t happy with it. It ran sluggish and wasn’t as good as everyone was talking about.
