Porsche 991.2 (911) Technical Data | AMR Performance

Full factory specifications for the second-generation 991 — the turbocharged 2016-2019 Porsche 911 range, from the Carrera to the GT2 RS. Reference figures for engines, output, performance, drivetrain, and dimensions.

Overview

The 991.2 is the facelift (Gen 2) of Porsche's 991-generation 911, produced for model years 2016-2019. Its headline change was the move to turbocharged flat-six engines across the entire Carrera range — a 3.0L twin-turbo replacing the naturally aspirated 3.4L/3.8L of the 991.1 — bringing more torque, lower in the rev range, along with a revised PDK, updated PCM infotainment, and standard rear-axle steering on higher trims. The GT3 and GT3 RS kept a naturally aspirated 4.0L, while the GT2 RS became the most powerful road-going 911 ever built at the time.
