Aston Martin ECU & TCU Tuning

How Aston Martin Tuning Works Aston Martin's modern range splits cleanly in two, and it changes how the work is done. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 cars — Vantage, DB11 V8, DBX and DBX707 — are flashed over the OBD port, either at an authorized dealer or at home using COMPORT PRO. No parts come off the car. The V12 cars — DB11 V12, Vantage V12, DBS Superleggera and the 5.9L Vanquish — require the ECU to be removed and shipped in. That takes longer, but it's the only route these controllers allow. Every file is written for one specific vehicle: engine, gearbox, and the fuel you actually run. All current Aston calibrations are built for 91/93 octane pump fuel — no race fuel, no hardware changes required.
