Tuning earned a reputation for cutting corners, deleting catalytic converters, defeating monitors, and off-road-only disclaimers stapled to street cars. CLEANSPEED ™ is our answer to that. Same AMR engineering, same dyno-validated gains, none of the compliance shortcuts. WHAT IS PROJECT CLEANSPEED™? Emissions hardware stays. Catalytic converters, GPF/OPF filters, EGR, and evaporative systems remain fully functional. We tune around them, not through them. Monitors stay live. Readiness monitors and OBD-II diagnostics continue to operate as designed; your check-engine system still does its job. No defeat devices. CLEANSPEED ™ calibrations contain no software intended to bypass, trick, or disable emissions controls. Compliance, in progress. Where applicable, we test and document so that calibrations can pursue a CARB Executive Order (EO) number for 50-state street use. Before a map carries the CLEANSPEED ™ name, we establish a reasonable technical basis, supported by emissions-related testing, that it does not adversely affect the vehicle's emissions performance under the EPA's Anti-Tampering Policy for vehicles operated in states following federal Clean Air Act standards. THE ROAD TO 50-STATE LEGAL A CARB Executive Order (EO) is the gold standard: it certifies that a performance product is legal for sale and use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California, and by extension, every state. CLEANSPEED™ is how we organize that work. For applications still in testing, the product carries clear regulatory-use language until an EO number is issued. When CARB testing is complete and an Executive Order is granted, the calibration is updated to reflect its 50-state legal status.
